Marrakesh Like A Local

To explore the medina off the beaten track and gain a better understanding of Moroccan culture, away from the tourist traps, we offer you immersive experiences, in contact with the locals. During a visit to the communal hammam (where Moroccans really go), to a traditional barber in the medina, or a night-time tour of the medina, take a guided tour of Marrakech and decipher the codes of Moroccan culture. !

Traditional Hammam

Originally created to enable the population to bathe, the hammam continues to be the frequent weekly meeting place for Moroccans, who gather there both for a thorough cleansing and socializing. Now is the time to let yourself be carried away and take care of yourself! After a briefing over an ice cream scoop, we head to the neighborhood hammam for a soaping, exfoliation with a kessa glove, massage... and emerge feeling soothed with soft skin!

Duration: 2 hours

Traditional barber

Get ready to step back in time with your local guide! We’re heading into the heart of the medina to visit one of our favorite barbers. While he works his magic, we’ll get to know each other over a glass of mint tea. In Morocco, the barbershop is a vital social hub, much like the hammam. You’ll leave the shop looking sharper than ever, with the bonus of having made a genuine local connection!

Medina by night

Discovering the medina by night is to watch Marrakech transform under lantern light: the souks take on a new life and the narrow alleys reveal intimate scenes. Accompanied by Salah, a Marrakchi born here, you’ll wander through hidden passages, enjoy a few spontaneous tastings, and finish the evening on Jemaa el Fna, carried by the storytellers and Gnawa musicians, an intimate, magical immersion in the true nocturnal Marrakech.
