Street Food Tour Marrakesh

Tour street food blanc
During your stay, you'll have plenty of opportunities to sample delicious tajines and the famous Moroccan couscous. But what we are proposing here is to experience a culinary experience off the beaten path, the discovering the street food so beloved by Moroccans, through the alleys of the medina!

Accompanied by a guide and depending on the time of day and the shopkeepers present, you can taste the Loubia (white beans in a tomato sauce), to Moroccan Hummus (whole chickpeas boiled and sprinkled with cumin and salt), to olives full of flavour, to filled Msemens (flaky pancakes), to Jben (a cream cheese dish), to Sfenj (delicious doughnuts eaten for breakfast or a snack), and to the Raib (curdled milk)... and for the more adventurous, to the Berbouch (lightly spiced snails) or Tehan (stuffed veal spleen)! And the visit ends with a meal of Machoui (lunchtime only) or with a Tanjia Marrakechia a typical dish from the ochre city. All the Marrakech street food we love!

THEY TRIED MOROCCAN STREET FOOD

AND THEY SAY IT BETTER THAN WE COULD!

'What better way to discover the medina than to taste Moroccan specialities on the street corners of the souk? I had a great time, our guide, Salah, was adorable and very knowledgeable about history! As well as tasting all the dishes, we were given a historical tour. I left with a full belly!'

Victoria
‘Young and old were delighted with this unusual visit. We met up with Salah, a true Marrakchi, at the famous Jamal El Fna square, where he showed us some of the little corners of the souk. Along the way, Salah introduced us to a number of specialities. The visit was original, punctuated by stories and anecdotes. Salah knows how to talk and interest children and adults alike.’

Noémie, Nath et Alban
‘I have some excellent memories of this trip. An explosion of flavours and scents, sometimes surprising discoveries, a guide generous with explanations and anecdotes... in short, an unforgettable experience!’
