The best way to discover Moroccan cuisine is to try dishes prepared at home, by women with ancestral know-how. They know perfectly how to combine spices to delight the taste buds! For a gourmet break in the middle of an intense day of sightseeing in the medina, there's nothing better than to find yourself in the intimate cocoon of a Moroccan family who will take good care of you!
This home-cooked meal is an opportunity to spend a pleasant moment in contact with a Moroccan family, to discover the traditional way of life in the Medina, and to enjoy a delicious meal (nothing like what is served in restaurants for tourists!). You'll be able to ask your hosts any questions you may have, and they’ll open their doors to you; though their home is simple, their welcome is incredibly generous.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR HOMESTAY EXPERIENCE?
When booking, please specify the date and time slot of your choice, as well as any allergies or special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten or lactose intolerance...). If you'd like a particular dish, don't hesitate to ask!
If you would like to bring your hosts a small gift rather than leaving a tip, a little culinary or artisanal speciality from your region is always a lovely idea.
We recommend clothing that covers the shoulders and knees, and women should avoid low-cut tops.
A few tips to avoid any awkward moments: in Morocco, men and women shake hands but do not kiss on the cheek. People eat with the right hand (except when using a fork). And you take off your shoes before stepping onto a rug.
And above all, come with an empty stomach!
