Moroccan cuisine is renowned as one of the most flavourful in the world! And what better way to discover it than during a cooking class in Agadir, getting hands-on alongside Moroccan women in a warm, "home away from home" atmosphere? Here, this Moroccan cooking class celebrates a table that faces the ocean, where fresh fish and seafood take pride of place, lifted by a subtle blend of spices. Over four hours spent with your host, you will discover the foundations of this generous cuisine, somewhere between local traditions and coastal influences. It is also a wonderful chance to immerse yourself in the daily life of an Agadir neighbourhood, far from the tourist areas, and to better understand what everyday life is like for locals. Choose 2 recipes in advance that you would like to learn to make, then join your host at the market and/or the neighbourhood shops to pick out the ingredients: the catch of the day, fresh vegetables and local spices. Then it is time to prepare the meal, which you will take an active part in, before sharing and enjoying your dishes together on the spot. And to keep the experience going once you are back home, you will be given the recipe cards at the end of your cooking class.

HOW TO PREPARE WELL FOR YOUR AGADIR COOKING CLASS
When you book, let us know the 2 recipes you would like to learn to cook, and the date and time slot of your choice. Please also tell us about any allergies or special diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten or lactose intolerance, and so on).
If you would like to bring your hosts a small gift rather than leaving a tip, a little culinary or artisanal speciality from your region is always a lovely idea.
We recommend clothing that covers the shoulders and knees, and women should avoid low-cut tops.
A few tips to avoid any awkward moments: in Morocco, men and women shake hands but do not kiss on the cheek. People eat with the right hand (except when using a fork). And you take off your shoes before stepping onto a rug.
And above all, come with an empty stomach!
